StoryFaces

May 22 & 23

StoryFaces is an exciting and original series of storytelling performances for schools in which Christopher paints the faces of audience volunteers to illustrate the stories as I tell them, captivating the student audience as they learn about world cultures and our shared humanity through these uniquely animated tales. The program includes 4-6 stories, ranging from retellings of familiar tales like Aesop’s Fables, to heroic legends such as Punia and the King of the Sharks and The Tail of the Dragon, cultural tales like A Butterfly Story from the Tohono O’Odom, comic characters like Tiddalik the Frog, and original tales, such as The Tiger that Went to the House of the Sun and The Amazing Face Story.

The Ticonderoga Festival Guild will present the Seagle Festival in a preview of their 2024 season and entertain us with favorite Broadway Hits.

In June:

Opera Shots will return to Ticonderoga the exact date and location will be announced soon.

July 25th Contra Dancing will come to Ticonderoga!

The dance will be held at the Knights of Columbus Pavilion starting at 7PM.

We are so excited to have Paul Rosenburg, a very well-known Contra Dance Caller and Instructor come to Ticonderoga. He and his band will introduce us to this exciting family/community dance. You do not need to know how to dance – the steps are simple, and Paul will teach everyone what to do.

We spend so much time on our phones and in front of screens that we don’t physically interact as much any more. Contra Dance is a great opportunity for people of all ages and dance skills to get together as a group and reconnect as friends and family. It’s a grass roots activity with an emphasis on building community, rather than becoming a marvelous dancer.
Join us on July 25th – kick up your heels and have a fantastic time dancing.
